Since 1997, we have been producing our wares at the foot of the mountains in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka City.
Each item in the JOICE ON THE TABLE collection is handmade.
Therefore, please understand that there may be slight variations in glaze intensity or shape.
While we strive to deliver products that closely resemble the photos,
we hope you can appreciate the unique charm of handmade items.
TAKAMI ITO
Since 1997, I have been dedicated to the craft of pottery.
My passion for art began in childhood, with a love for drawing that deepened through experiences such as painting dishes on Nokonoshima Island and participating in ceramics classes during junior high school.
Influenced by my mother's love for pottery, I pursued formal ceramic education at the Kyushu Institute of Design, followed by apprenticeship under a renowned potter before venturing out on my own.
Setting up my studio on land my late mother had intended for her future home, I embarked on my journey as an independent artist, eager to create and share my works with the world.
